Kadampa Hosting Changes
EasyWeb package being discontinued - Upgrade will be required
Kadampa Hosting is expanding the amount of premium services we provide to our clients and migrating to better hardware; we want all centers to be able to take advantage of these so we have created a single hosting plan that supports them. We will be discontinuing our EasyWeb package in favor of making the StandardWeb package work for all centers. This will mean a price increase for some centers but this still remains less than a single students facility fee.
The revenue generated from this plan is put towards current and future projects that directly benefit your center's website such as the center template, media player, NKT video libary, image gallery, print publicity sharing center, video tutorials, KnowledgeBase, live help, new center search, NKT-IKBU portal button, news feeds and so forth. You are also directly supporting the development of core sites such as Kadampa.org, Tharpa.com, information sites, Festival sites, KadampaWeb.org and to purchase video equipment needed for NKT International Festivals.

Server Migration
To increase performance and allow faster access speeds for your visitors, Kadampa Hosting is moving from it's current single server to a distributed network of servers located in the US, UK and Asia. During December and January clients currently on the StandardWeb plan, or clients who have have chosen to upgrade, will be migrated to the server closest to their physical location. We will keep you informed of your migration status and any possible interruptions to your service.
New Client Area
Your center will shortly be receiving a username and password for our new Client Area where you can manage your account with us. This will give you: invoice management, help desk, news, a knowledgebase, live help, downloads and more. The Client Area will also allow you to upgrade your hosting package to our new services.
NB: This email will be sent to the main contact email address that appears on your website and not to this email account. Please check your spam box in case it ends up in there.
New Audio Hosting Service
Our new dedicated Audio Hosting Service is designed to make it easy to distribute audio files. Costing less than a single students facility fee this services allows you to sell and distribute correspondence classes and events to registered students or attendees.
Centers currently hosting audio files on their website will need to migrate these files to the new service. Help and support will be provided by our support team.
